About John Turley-Ewart
CanadianBanker.ca was founded by John Turley-Ewart.
JTE's banking career spans 25 years. He started as a bank teller and later specialized in implementing large, complex compliance programs for risk and capital markets at financial organizations in Toronto and New York.
JTE writes a weekly column on business, banking, and economic issues for the Globe & Mail's Report on Business and holds a PhD in Canadian business history from the University of Toronto. He graduated with distinction from Western University's MBA program.
